Stevens Competition 2024
Architectural Glass Artist of the Year
On 19th June it was announced that the 2024 Competition would be for a panel to be installed in the Oriental Club in the West End of London. In a departure from usual practice, entries will be invited from the winners of the 2016 to 2023 Stevens Competitions and the artists commissioned to deliver their design for each of these years. This approach was in celebration of the fact that a commission had been awarded in each of these years.
The Glaziers’ Foundation, the charity that funds the Stevens Competition, is currently reviewing the range of education and training activities undertaken by The Glaziers Foundation to ensure that they are co-ordinated, appropriate for the needs of the craft in the current environment and represent value for money. The Stevens Competition is included in this review. When the review is completed, any changes to the existing competitions and awards will be announced.
