Stevens Competition 2024
Architectural Glass Artist of the Year
The 2024 Competition was for a panel to be installed in the Oriental Club in the West End of London. In a departure from usual practice, entries were invited from the winners of the 2016 to 2023 Stevens Competitions and from the artists who were commissioned to deliver their design in each of these years . This approach was in celebration of the fact that a commission had been awarded in each of these years.
For future years The Glaziers’ Charity, which funds the Stevens Competition, is undertaking a review of its education and training activities to ensure that they are co-ordinated, appropriate for the needs of the craft in the current environment and represent value for money. The Stevens Competition is included in this review. When the review is completed, any changes to the existing competitions and awards will be announced.
